CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Nurses Say it Straight
These comments are not from nurses at Adena Regional Medical Center but are instead nurse comments from hospitals with a similar size and quality ratings for illustration of what feedback from nurses at a hospital of this size and quality might be.
I would definitely recommend my friends and neighbors to come here for both elective and emergency care because we're pretty good.
Professional, efficient, confident in immediate care. Excellent transitions and collaboration with regular staff. Challenging with temporary staff, but overall seamless care.
It's okay, but could be better. Amazing travelers, but problematic long term staff.
Providence Hospital: Large facility with a sense of community care. I would feel confident receiving care here.
Quality of care varies depending on staff. ER can be challenging, but cardiology team provides excellent care. MedSurg floors can be rough, with potential for things to be overlooked if not severely ill.
Good care after ER, but CNAs lack motivation, low morale, and provide subpar care without seeming to care.
Depends on what they're looking for. Strong CT, cardiothoracic program. AHA-certified with stroke treatments, but all done via telehealth. Uncomfortable with Stanford consultations. Not for pediatrics.
Overall, the nurse does not recommend the ED due to issues and disagrees about referring loved ones because of the quality of care.
Not recommending due to lack of designated pediatrics unit, as I've seen patients of different ages together.

Patients seen by multiple doctors within group, not followed by one doctor - something I've noticed.
Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Adena Regional Medical Center, as indicated by the CMS HCAHPS patient ratings and quality data, displays some areas of improvement. Patients have expressed low overall satisfaction with their experience, reporting occasional delays in the care team's responsiveness and challenges with the cleanliness of the hospital. Additionally, patients have raised concerns about the ability to have a quiet and restful environment during their stay. However, it is worth noting that the hospital performs above average in preventing infections among its patients. Notably, the emergency department wait time is lengthy, with patients waiting an average of over three hours to be seen and treated.
