Exemplary care; competent nurses and doctors. I would choose St. Joseph for receiving care.
ICU is strong, received award, ED is chaotic, biggest in the area, challenging to manage.
Great teamwork, but staffing ratios are a downside. Good doctors and nurses. Would recommend for family members.
"I would prefer them to go to Dameron. Honestly, I would have them come because I would be there. There are nurses I would trust with my family."
Our hospital provides good care with a dedicated nursing staff despite limited resources.
Professional, efficient, confident in immediate care. Excellent transitions and collaboration with regular staff. Challenging with temporary staff, but overall seamless care.
High infection rates and complications with routine procedures compared to previous hospital, go elsewhere for routine procedures.

Patients have reported that the care team at times can be slow in meeting their needs. Furthermore, the hospital shows average performance in every measured mortality rate. Additionally, the hospital experiences a lengthy average ER wait time, with patients waiting over 3 hours to be seen and treated. It is worth mentioning that Banner Ocotillo Medical Center does not perform well in effectively treating conditions like heart failure, leading to a higher likelihood of patients having to return to the hospital.
