CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Exemplary care; competent nurses and doctors. I would choose St. Joseph for receiving care.
Overall, the hospital is doing a good job and worth mentioning that it is now a teaching hospital for doctors.
St. Joseph's: kind, helpful, and caring. They treat you like family to help you get well.
Good quality care, highly skilled doctors, respectful treatment of staff and patients.
We care for our patients well, with attentive managers. As a newer nurse, I'm still learning.
Quality of care varies, challenging on busy days. Staffing improved but still need more trained nurses and doctors in pediatrics.
Doing their best with limited resources, but some nurses don't care. Advocate for your family member or pull the nurse card. Mixed recommendations.
Skilled nurses, extreme shortage, hesitant to refer family. Short-staffed, often 60%, 3 patients in ICU. Good community presence, corporate-driven focus on stakeholders.
Covenant is the best local hospital for care. Patients complain about the Harrison Campus nurses.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Mountainview Hospital provides average overall patient satisfaction, as indicated by the CMS HCAHPS patient ratings. The hospital maintains an average ER wait time, with patients being seen and treated in 2-3 hours, on average. However, Mountainview Hospital has room for improvement in treating conditions such as heart failure and pneumonia, as patients often need to return to the hospital for further care. Nonetheless, the hospital excels at preventing infections among its patients, showcasing its exceptional efforts in ensuring patient safety.
