CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Nurses Say it Straight
These comments are not from nurses at Providence Medical Center but are instead nurse comments from hospitals with a similar size and quality ratings for illustration of what feedback from nurses at a hospital of this size and quality might be.
Amazing care, amazing staff. Great discussions with physicians. High level of care and attention. Unable to do certain procedures.
The hospital is okay, not too bad, but challenging due to frequent staff turnover, particularly in the ED.
Very good care, small hospital, limited services, up-to-date facilities
Highly recommend hospital, especially cardiology department. Shortage of staff, but not as dire as it seems.
Quality of care good, but understaffed like all hospitals.
Exceptional compassion towards patients and families. Highly recommend St. Joseph hospital for loved ones, dedicated to addressing concerns.
Quality of care is great, staff is likable.
Good care, recommend St. Luke's for accommodating patients, no discharge without proper follow-up.
The nursing staff is incredible, but the lack of resources and physician availability would influence my opinion on Menorah.

Excellent care from coworkers, but not enough time for each patient. Common challenge in healthcare. Committed to doing our best.
Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Providence Medical Center provides average quality care across all measured mortality rates. Additionally, the hospital excels in managing emergency cases with a low average wait time and treatment duration in the Emergency Room, which is less than 2 hours. These findings suggest that patients can expect efficient emergency care at Providence Medical Center.
