CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.

How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?

With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).

While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Nurses Say it Straight

These comments are not from nurses at Great Falls Clinic Hospital but are instead nurse comments from hospitals with a similar size and quality ratings for illustration of what feedback from nurses at a hospital of this size and quality might be.

The hospital is okay, not too bad, but challenging due to frequent staff turnover, particularly in the ED.

Depends on reason for care, aware of patient needs, advise against if necessary care not provided, multiple factors involved.

Limited services. Room for improvement. Not recommended. Great for Strokes and ICU, but not ER.

Overall, good care, outdated facilities, competent doctors, dedicated staff, highly skilled nursing, good patient care.

Great nurses, poor management, staffing issues, recommend other hospitals, lack of specialty doctors.

Quality of care good, but understaffed like all hospitals.

Unsafe, understaffed, business-focused. Recommend the Plaza, better care, staffing ratios the same, residents, fellows, attending physicians at Barnes Jewish.

Trust the quality of care, feel safe here receiving treatment in our hospital.

Good hospital, not recommended for ED due to lack of support staff. Other hospitals have more resources for safe patient care.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:

Great Falls Clinic Hospital is consistently rated highly by patients, reflecting their overall satisfaction with the quality of care received. Patients appreciate the staff's prompt responsiveness to their needs and commend their ability to meet those needs quickly. In terms of mortality rates, the hospital maintains an average performance across all measured areas. With regards to emergency room services, patients are seen and treated within an average wait time of 2-3 hours. The hospital excels in effectively treating conditions such as heart failure and pneumonia, reducing the likelihood of patients needing readmission. However, it should be noted that the hospital does face challenges in terms of high infection rates.
