CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Covenant is one of the best hospitals, but I have concerns about the quality of care during the COVID pandemic.
Always recommend Covenant. Excellent care, praised by patients and family members. Chose to work here due to great teamwork.
We provide good care, but sometimes lack sufficient CNAs.
Overall feeling: Hospital care could be better post-pandemic; budget issues lead to cheaper supplies; core staff underappreciated; travel nurses given better incentives.
Cannot receive care here due to insurance.
Overall care is great, but challenging due to new nurses and grads. More knowledge needed, experience is key.
Understaffed, heavy workload, quality of care affected, delayed meals, inability to turn patients, delayed bathing, less attention given.
Poor staffing, unsupportive management, staffing crisis, inadequate care, patients lack necessary service and attention.
Certain surgeons are better; overall hospital care is safe.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Forrest General Hospital is known for its high level of overall patient satisfaction. Patients have expressed positivity towards the quiet atmosphere of the hospital. However, it is important to note that the hospital has multiple significant concerns regarding patient mortality rates. Furthermore, the hospital experiences long wait times in the emergency room, with an average of over 3 hours for patients to be seen and treated. Additionally, Forrest General Hospital does not excel in treating conditions such as heart failure and pneumonia, which can result in patients needing to return to the hospital for further care.
