WakeMed Raleigh definitely has better care. The staff is well-trained, conscientious, and there is a lot of love and dedication.

On the positive side, the hospital performs well in treating conditions like heart attacks and heart failure. Patients treated for these conditions are less likely to return to the hospital. However, the hospital does not perform as well in treating conditions like pneumonia, as patients treated for pneumonia are more likely to have to return to the hospital. On a brighter note, Abbott Northwestern Hospital excels in ensuring that patients do not acquire infections during their stay, performing above the national average in this aspect.
