CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

"I absolutely refer people to North Kansas City. Our culture is amazing, they listen, they care, and we are well-staffed."
Our care is good. Staff genuinely want to be here, despite lower pay than other hospitals.
Definitely recommend this facility. Enjoy working here and full confidence in quality of care provided to patients.
I would definitely refer someone I love to my hospital; the care here is truly excellent.
Quality of care okay, pretty good. Want my unit.
The care on my unit is great, but concerns about quality of care in other areas of the hospital.
Quality of care is very good, trust colleagues with family members. However, understaffed, challenging to provide individualized care. Nursing staff works hard.
Care in ICUs great, concern about other floors, new nurses lack experience, may not know what they are doing.
Good care, certain specialties elsewhere. Great hospitalist and pulmonary teams, but for cardiology, go to Covenant. Better ICU team at Midland.

I love WakeMed. They don't overload us, they care and listen.
Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Based on the CMS HCAHPS patient ratings and quality data, Tufts Medical Center demonstrates high overall patient satisfaction. The hospital exhibits average performance in all measured mortality rates. However, it is important to note that the hospital experiences a longer than average emergency room wait time, with patients taking on average over 3 hours to be seen and treated. In terms of specific conditions, the hospital struggles with effectively treating heart failure to prevent readmissions. On the positive side, Tufts Medical Center excels in ensuring that patients do not acquire infections during their stay, displaying above-average performance in this aspect of patient care.
