CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Amazing care, amazing staff. Great discussions with physicians. High level of care and attention. Unable to do certain procedures.
The hospital is okay, not too bad, but challenging due to frequent staff turnover, particularly in the ED.
Very comfortable for family in ER, but strongly urge going somewhere else for higher level of care.
Great nurses, poor management, staffing issues, recommend other hospitals, lack of specialty doctors.
Quality of care good, but understaffed like all hospitals.
Overall, good job, caring nurses, lack of medical oversight impacting care quality.
Highly recommended hospital for family members.
The nursing staff is incredible, but the lack of resources and physician availability would influence my opinion on Menorah.
Decent quality of care in our hospital.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Based on the CMS HCAHPS patient ratings and quality data, Baystate Franklin Medical Center demonstrates average overall patient satisfaction. The hospital performs at an average level in terms of all measured mortality rates. Unfortunately, patients may experience a long wait time in the emergency room, as it takes an average of over 3 hours for them to be seen and treated. However, the hospital excels in treating conditions such as pneumonia, effectively reducing the need for patients to return. It is important to note that Baystate Franklin Medical Center faces challenges with high infection rates.
