CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Kaiser is well-managed, nothing to improve.
Not recommended. Limited services and lack of complexity in patient care. Competent at stabilizing, but not experienced with serious illnesses.
"Nurses in Manteca show greater care, unlike other hospitals where sometimes calls for help go unanswered."
Great care, but lacking due to staffing and overwhelming workload. Might not be timely or as expected, due to lack of resources and availability.
For neurology or stroke, definitely recommend our hospital. For other medical conditions, advise seeking treatment elsewhere.
Quality of care varies based on factors including stress level, patient load, and staffing; sometimes we have 5-6 patients.
Definitely recommend Truman for medical, trauma, and critical care; concerns with surgery department. Very good care quality overall.
Truman is preferred due to its smaller size, allowing for a more personal experience compared to the larger KU hospital.
Quality of nurses decreased, recommend St. Joseph's, staffing and management issues, struggles on medical-surgical floor, inefficient transfers for neuro patients.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Glenwood Regional Medical Center, based on the CMS HCAHPS patient ratings and quality data, demonstrates an average overall patient satisfaction. However, patients have reported challenges with the cleanliness of the hospital. The hospital's performance in mortality rates is average across all measured conditions. On average, the hospital's emergency room wait time is acceptable, with patients being seen and treated within 2-3 hours. Nevertheless, the hospital struggles with effectively treating conditions like heart attacks and heart failure, which results in patients having to return for further care. Additionally, Glenwood Regional Medical Center has encountered difficulties in maintaining low infection rates.
