CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Nurses Say it Straight
These comments are not from nurses at Christus St Frances Cabrini Hospital but are instead nurse comments from hospitals with a similar size and quality ratings for illustration of what feedback from nurses at a hospital of this size and quality might be.
Good hospital, caring doctors, competent nurses. Prefer over other hospitals. Some downsides, but Olathe tries to accommodate.
Overwhelmed staff on regular med surge floors, would prefer sending family to another hospital, due to insufficient staffing.
Definitely recommend having a baby at Olathe Medical Center, L&D is isolated and we don't float.
Quality of care is excellent; exceptional care is provided in the women's service line.
Overland is okay, not amazing but not awful either. It's just an average hospital.
Unsafe patient-staff ratio, difficult to provide quality care, steer family away, poor staffing, overcrowded hallways, long wait times, lack of privacy.
Nurses go above and beyond, prioritizing patient safety, well-being, and prompt communication with doctors for problem resolution.
It's great! Patients well cared for, quality care is really good. Would recommend to family.
Excellent care, patient-first approach.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Based on the CMS HCAHPS patient ratings and quality data, Christus St Frances Cabrini Hospital exhibits average overall patient satisfaction. Patients have reported that the care team can be slow at times in meeting their needs. The hospital's performance in terms of mortality rates is average across all measured areas. However, there is room for improvement in the hospital's ER wait time, with patients experiencing an average wait of over 3 hours before being seen and treated. Furthermore, the hospital faces challenges in effectively treating conditions such as heart attacks, leading to patients requiring readmission. Additionally, the hospital has encountered difficulties in maintaining low infection rates.
