CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Hospitals suffer from inadequate staffing, overwhelming physicians, and a high turnover rate among young nurses. Change is needed.
Nurses go above and beyond, prioritizing patient safety, well-being, and prompt communication with doctors for problem resolution.
It's great! Patients well cared for, quality care is really good. Would recommend to family.
WakeMed Raleigh definitely has better care. The staff is well-trained, conscientious, and there is a lot of love and dedication.
It's really good, my favorite. Nurses take patient care seriously, collaborate, monitor fetal heart rate, prioritize concerns, and include patients in decision-making.
Quality of care at WakeMed North is pretty good. Would definitely recommend to a loved one. Low ratios allow personalized care. Staff genuinely loves what they are doing.
Choose my hospital over nearby tertiary hospitals due to some great care providers but also a few not so great.
Great quality, prioritizing understanding, thorough investigation, addressing concerns - I would recommend this hospital.
"I absolutely refer people to North Kansas City. Our culture is amazing, they listen, they care, and we are well-staffed."

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
University Of Kentucky Hospital has received high overall patient satisfaction ratings. However, it is important to note that the hospital has a long wait time in the emergency department, with patients typically waiting over 3 hours to be seen and treated. Additionally, the hospital does not excel in treating conditions such as heart attacks to prevent patients from needing to return. On the positive side, University Of Kentucky Hospital has been exceptional in its efforts to prevent infections among its patients.
