Additionally, patients appreciate the hospital's quiet atmosphere. While the hospital maintains average mortality rates and ER wait times, patients are usually seen and treated within 2-3 hours. Grinnell Regional Medical Center also excels in treating conditions like heart failure, reducing the likelihood of patients needing readmission. However, the hospital faces challenges with high infection rates.
