CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Good quality care, personable staff, compassionate work.
Good hospital, caring doctors, competent nurses. Prefer over other hospitals. Some downsides, but Olathe tries to accommodate.
Definitely recommend having a baby at Olathe Medical Center, L&D is isolated and we don't float.
Overworked nurses, lack of care on regular floors. ER constantly full with burnout. Recommend NICU and trauma.
Quality of care and patient satisfaction are top priorities- nurses and physicians value our work, active feedback improvement. Manager's exceptional at patient monitoring.
Very busy hospital, but does a good job taking care of patients. Constant growth with full rooms, sometimes wait for ER beds. Superior labor and delivery, NICU, and women's care compared to another facility.
Good care, certain specialties elsewhere. Great hospitalist and pulmonary teams, but for cardiology, go to Covenant. Better ICU team at Midland.
Shorter version: Excellent care, educated staff, doctors advocate for patients, interdisciplinary team, would recommend any unit for loved ones.
High standard of care, confident in quality, specialized in pediatrics, one of the bigger referral centers.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Elmhurst Memorial Hospital has received high overall patient satisfaction ratings, indicating that patients are generally pleased with the care they receive. Patients have particularly praised the quiet atmosphere of the hospital, which contributes to a positive experience. The hospital maintains average mortality rates across all measured conditions, suggesting that patient outcomes are generally on par with other healthcare facilities. Additionally, the hospital's emergency department has an average wait time of 2-3 hours for patients to be seen and treated. However, the hospital could improve its effectiveness in treating conditions such as pneumonia, as patients sometimes need to return for further treatment. On the other hand, the hospital excels in preventing infections among patients, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
