CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Nurses Say it Straight
These comments are not from nurses at Adventhealth Heart Of Florida but are instead nurse comments from hospitals with a similar size and quality ratings for illustration of what feedback from nurses at a hospital of this size and quality might be.
Professional, efficient, confident in immediate care. Excellent transitions and collaboration with regular staff. Challenging with temporary staff, but overall seamless care.
High infection rates and complications with routine procedures compared to previous hospital, go elsewhere for routine procedures.
I would definitely recommend my friends and neighbors to come here for both elective and emergency care because we're pretty good.
Depends on the care needed, but for general illnesses, we provide good care; specialized treatment should be sought elsewhere.
Mostly comfortable, excel in cardiology, majority of hospitalists are excellent, lack expertise in certain specialties, ICU's care and knowledge level needs improvement, young nurses lack experience.
Limited specialties, recommend bigger hospitals for specific needs, transfer and wait for beds sometimes.
"I would prefer them to go to Dameron. Honestly, I would have them come because I would be there. There are nurses I would trust with my family."
Don't go to Dameron, policies and processes are not well put together, staff is unhappy, management doesn't pay attention to teams.
Decline in hospital quality since Adventist Health took over, more confident in ICU, depends on loved one's unit.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Adventhealth Heart Of Florida has received very low overall patient satisfaction ratings according to CMS HCAHPS patient ratings and quality data. Patients have reported significant challenges with staff responsiveness to their needs, as well as difficulties with communication about their medications. Additionally, patients have experienced notable issues with transitions between departments within the hospital. The hospital's average emergency room wait time is relatively average, with patients being seen and treated within 2-3 hours on average. However, the hospital has struggled in effectively treating conditions such as pneumonia, leading to a higher rate of patients needing to return to the hospital. Furthermore, the hospital has faced challenges with infection rates, which have been reported as high.
