CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

KU > AdventHealth. Chased doctors at AH, missed things. KU's provider team proactive in potassium replacement and pain management.
Absolutely recommend. Left, came back. Told patient, doctor and family to move to KU, they understood.
I recommend my hospital; strong teamwork, good care in all areas, witnessed quality care across various departments, overall really good care.
Quality of care here is pretty good compared to other hospitals I've worked in, both in Wilmington and Greenville.
Hospital care: high quality and even personally chose it for my own surgery.
Good care, better than surrounding hospitals, room for improvement, staff stretched thin, limited time with each patient.
Staffing issues sometimes result in decreased promptness. Family presence may be required for excellent quality of care.
Lack of support, overwhelming workload, average care.
ICUs provide good care, but understaffed floors lead to a decline in quality, with inadequate time for patients and inconsistent care from CNAs and Resource Nurses.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Morton Plant Hospital consistently achieves high overall patient satisfaction ratings. However, it is important to note that the hospital does experience extended wait times in the emergency room, with patients waiting an average of over 3 hours before being seen and treated. Additionally, the hospital falls short in effectively treating conditions such as heart failure, as patients often need to return for further care. On the positive side, Morton Plant Hospital is exceptional in its efforts to prevent infections among its patients.
