CareLuminate does not have nurse interviews for this hospital currently, but is estimating the Nurse Recommendation Score based on the strong relationship between patient feedback and nurse feedback.
How Does CareLuminate Estimate The Nurse Recommendation Score?
With over 1,000 nurses having participated with CareLuminate to date, we have found that the relationship between hospital patient recommendation ratings and nurse recommendation ratings is very strong (p<.001, R-squared = .42).
While the two ratings are often similar, the comments from nurses are extremely important because they show an important 'inside view' into strengths or concerns in a hospital. CareLuminate is working towards offering nurse insights into every hospital in the US.

Excellent care, well staffed.
Covenant is the best local hospital for care. Patients complain about the Harrison Campus nurses.
100% commitment to patients, amazing teamwork, not feeling alone, always room for improvement.
Legacy Emanuel is recommended for family members, good outcomes with sick patients; trust in providers. Good with trauma patients, neuro trauma care. Not recommended for cancer patients.
Cannot receive care here due to insurance.
Overall care is great, but challenging due to new nurses and grads. More knowledge needed, experience is key.
Our systems hinder us, we miss truly listening to patients. Failed treatments and lack of comprehensive care. Advocate needed 24/7.
It depends on the unit. ED turnover is high. Good experience in OB and PACU units. Wouldn't send family to ED unless basic. Lots of travelers.
Satisfactory care for minor issues, but understaffed - patients need to advocate for themselves.

Summary of Hospital-Reported Data
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires hospitals to collect and report on hospital quality and patient satisfaction data. While the data can be dated (collected 1 to 4 years ago) the insights are an important view into hospital safety and quality. We looked through all of this data, and here is our summary of what we found:
Memorial Regional Hospital is an establishment that demonstrates average overall patient satisfaction in accordance with the CMS HCAHPS patient ratings and quality data. While the hospital maintains an average emergency room wait time, with patients typically being seen and treated within a 2-3 hour timeframe, it also indicates various significant concerns in relation to patient mortality. Additionally, the hospital's performance in treating conditions such as heart failure and pneumonia falls short, resulting in patients needing to return to the hospital for further care.
